AvaDent™ Digital Dentures are a product of Global Dental Science LLC, a dental innovations company dedicated to improving dental procedures and outcomes through Process Automation. With AvaDent™ our team has developed a new clinical and manufacturing digital platform for removable prosthetics that is dramatically reducing the process time for the patient and dentist, while increasing patient satisfaction through better fit, function and aesthetics. Principals in the organization include:
- Tim Thompson — Tim is an accomplished entrepreneur and corporate executive who has successfully led both national and multinational companies. As CEO of IMTEC he was responsible for the growth and vision of the company. Prior to involvement with IMTEC, Tim was President and CEO of HYTEC, a Los Alamos, NM technology company focused on 3D scanning.
- Andy Jakson — Andy has been a leader in his local dental community for over 20 years as a lab owner and technician. Andy is a national advocate for CBCT evaluations and is a keynote speaker and lecturer for MDI’s and implantology.
- Scott Keating — Scott is a multi-disciplinary engineer who blends sophisticated software with engineering concepts to create high quality dental products. Since 1999, he has directed several engineering groups and developed production applications in dental technology.
- Sjon Grobbee — Sjon has been an entrepreneur since 1992 owning a CAD/CAM company in Europe. In 2005 Sjon started OrthoProof Europe delivering digital orthodontic study models. Since 2006 he has partnered with Tim and Scott implementing new developments and process automation in Dentistry.
Groundbreaking Facility
AvaDents™ are manufactured exclusively in the USA in our new, state-of-the-art, 27,000 sq. ft. facility in Scottsdale, AZ. There, specially trained dental technicians use laser scanners, proprietary computer design software and advanced five-axis milling stations to create this first-in-the-world digital prosthetic.
