Using streamlined impression and record-taking techniques, Clinicians follow standard clinical procedures to gather the information necessary to create a patient’s computer-precision fit AvaDent denture in just one easy appointment.

AvaDent can accommodate several options for collecting the records, such as AvaDent’ s proprietary Anatomical Measurement Device, or AMD, which along with the use of thermoplastic trays, provides a highly technical yet easy to perform approach to capturing measurements. Clinicians can also provide a stone model or a duplicate denture using our Reference Denture Technique.

More and more, Clinicians are finding they are getting the records they need through AvaDent’s recently released “easy on-ramp” approach, which utilizes the Good Fit system. Good Fit, for use with dentures, implant dentures, and immediate dentures, provides an all-in-one tray for impression-taking and measurements. This thermoplastic tray includes teeth, which assist in assessing bite and other key measurements, as well as esthetics.

The records are then scanned by an AvaDent-approved scanner to create a digital file. Using this file, along with the Clinician’s prescription, a virtual digital denture is produced by AvaDent’s expert technicians, designed to Clinician specifications. Once designed, AvaDent gives the Clinician the opportunity to review the digital design using the AvaDent Viewer, and request changes prior to approving
